S.W.A.T. is the uncomplicated tale of the 'Special Weapons and Tactics' division of the LAPD. Headed by Samuel L. Jackson, a team of recruits are handpicked and then trained to form an elite crime fighting team to apprehend a criminal mastermind.

SABAH (2005)
Making a romantic comedy by touching on the exposed nerve of Arab-Western cultural collision is certainly a new approach. Ruba Nadda's portrayal of an immigrant family living in Canada is a light-hearted film typical of the genre but still manages to engage with the multicultural debate.

Seven SwordsSEVEN SWORDS (2005)

Song for a Raggy BoySONG FOR A RAGGY BOY (2003)
Based on Patrick Galvin's true story of abuse within a Catholic instituion, Song For A Raggy Boy is not an easy film to watch. New teacher William Franklin (Aiden Quinn) takes up a post at a reformatory school and quickly bonds with the boys. However his sensibilities bring him into tragic conflict with the other masters.

Sophie SchollSOPHIE SCHOLL - THE FINAL DAYS (2005)

Fans of typically Farrelly brothers gross-out comedy may come away from Stuck on You feeling, well, not so enamoured. While the title hints at bad taste punning of the highest order at the expense of conjoined twins, this is more a saccharine - and toilet-humour free - exploration of brotherly love.
