15th RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS
Raindance, the UK's largest independent film festival, is now accepting submissions for its 15th anniversary edition and welcoming shorts and features of all genres from anywhere in the world. The festival dates have been set for 26th September to 7th October 2007, submissions deadline 1st June 2007.

LFF PROGRAMME REVEALED: The 54th BFI London Film Festival, in partnership with American Express, is delighted to announce that the Opening Night Gala on 13 October will be
NEVER LET ME GO, directed by Mark Romanek and starring Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield. And closing the festival will be the European premiere of Danny Boyle's
127 HOURS on Thursday 28 October.

THE CANNES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2008 - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Slumdog Millionaire sweeping the board in 4 categories, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Original Score.

Revolutionary Road) won 2 awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
Colin Farrel (
In Bruges) and
Sally Hawkins (
Happy-Go-Lucky) also took home a globe for best performances.

The Times BFI 52nd London Film Festival rounded off its most successful year to date with the European premiere of
Danny Boyle's SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. This year's Festival hosted 191 feature films and 109 short films from 43 countries including a record 15 world premieres, a record 1096 industry professionals, and the highest ever audience attendance.
